  1. Hello from Santorini, Greece! I am wondering if any teachers have used the clipbook as a teacher binder. I have tried with finsbury A5 but failed due to its weight and I am looking for a lighter option. And also do you combine calendars or keep a personal planner separately? If so do you synchronize them? Thank you for ny advice.

    1. Hi Mary, many greetings from Germany! By the way I keep my fingers crossed for you in Greece that the Euro pressure is not getting your nation down to its knees. I'd rather wish that Greece is standing up for it's own national interests and relieves the ugly aftermath of the Euro disater from its people. That said, I use a black clipbook as a kind of A5 notebook at work with calendar and different subjects sections, where I gather my notes for one work week in there before transfering the special subjects leafes to another A5 reference book at the week end. The only three sections that stay in my light clipbook are my calendar section (one year overview on the very first page followed by a month on two pages plus one week on two pages. Two other sections too keep in there are my loging details for several work accounts and apps plus my commuting schedules of public transport at the back section. The reference book that gets heavier with each week can stay at work if I wish, but my clipbook as work organiser and notebook combination gets alwas with me home. I also have a compact charleston that I use as my edc personal organiser with its very own set-up. By the way, as the clipbook does not provide space for proper dividers, I use avery stick on tabs that I can move from every current month or week to the very next. These tabs however stick out a little bit but it neiter bothers me nor they fall off :-) Hope rhis helps. best wishes Sylke

    2. And please forgive my spelling mistakes that are for a big deal up to my rather unprofessional android touch screen mobile writing app.

  2. I've not used the clip book, I'm using the A5 Finsbury and its heaviness! However, I have class lists, timetable, calendar, meetings, notes, to do and seating plans in there.
I do have a personal planner also, a tiny one that I only write work stuff that means I'll be late home in plus all my personal dates. It's a pocket Malden and I love it.

    1. My pleasure :-)
Mary, just on thought to add, my black clipbook is very flexible as the covers are made of leather like material that allows the front cover to be totally folded back so that it rests underneath the back cover and I can use it comfortably holding as a single A5 notebook with only half the footprint of a fully open A5 Organiser. But be aware that all the translucent coloured clipbook covers are made of more sturdy plastic that are not flexible enough to do thIs special backfolding of the front cover. Hoping that this might help you in case you are going to ordering your clipbook online without the chance to trying it out before you buy it.
